No New Posts Sculpture and Pottery
The smell of clay and earth mixes with the metallic tang of bronze and the clean scent of stone as students busily labor in the large workshops near the back of the school, bringing life from inanimate materials.

No New Posts Drawing and Painting
The classrooms devoted to drawing and painting are on the highest floors of the school and very much like artists-lofts. Excellent for capturing natural light and reminding young artists during the winter of what they may have to endure for their craft

No New Posts Photography and Silkscreening
The workshops that lie adjacent to those of the sculpture and pottery classes are also filled with smells, mainly acrid and chemical as students capture shadows and light on silk and paper.

No New Posts Music and Vocal Performance
The music rooms are located in "The Tower", a tall, rotunda-like structure that reflects all the glory of the school's Gothic Revival architecture. Most students, however, do not enjoy the lengthy climb and are left breathless even before the first note.

No New Posts Balm House
This is the largest and newest dormitory on campus and is the housing choice for younger students. The rooms are a bit small but the social atmosphere is fantastic. It has a traditional college setting with communal bathrooms and bunk-beds. Up to four students share a room in this dormitory.

No New Posts Ramble Hall
Ramble Hall is the oldest dormitory at Rosewood and it is rather haunted, not so much by malevolent spirits but the memories of students long past. The dorm is very much in the Gothic Revival style of the older buildings on campus. Room sizes vary, and each floor has three private baths which can make mornings a bit tricky.

No New Posts Rosewood
The dormitory named after the academy is the favorite of many older students who prefer an independent lifestyle. The dormitory is composed of mini-suites in which up to four students share a bathroom, kitchen and two bedrooms. On each floor there is a common social lounge for all students.

No New Posts Pennybacker Home
This large, rambling dormitory is the a choice for those students who enjoy a communal, bohemian lifestyle. It resembles a large series of artists lofts, shacked together, divided by arbitrary means, with a large kitchen near the back of the first floor. The grounds around Pennybacker are surrounded by vegetable and herb gardens as well as numerous "installations" created over the years by the student artisans of Rosewood. A very eclectic place to be.

No New Posts Rosewood Gardens
Perhaps the most famous feature of Rosewood are the grounds, a rambling set of classic English gardens that gradually melt into groves and patches of forest. The scent of roses hangs heavily in the air from both the carefully cultivated tea roses in the gardens to their more wild cousins in the briar.

No New Posts Three Falls
The town near Rosewood Academy, named for the rather spectacular waterfall in the nearby mountains that can be heard faintly even in the noisiest traffic. A quiet, homey place that favors family-run businesses over mega malls and malt shops over fast food places.
